2008 - Anelia Botello

About Anelia
In February 2008, Anelia was diagnosed with osteosarcoma. She has had surgery and recently completed treatment at Seattle Children's Hospital.
Anelia is your typical 13 year old teenager. She loves talking on the phone with her friends and hanging out with her family. Anelia is from Yakima Washington and missed her four sisters when she underwent treatment.
When Anelia picked out her ornament colors this year she chose a rainbow of her favorites - teal, purple, pink and black... but her parents talked her out of black!
This year's ornament is a beautiful opulescent-like fixture featuring the teal, purple and pink. The talented artists at Uptown Glassworks in Renton, Washington are helping us again this year.
Anelia's family and friends provide her with an enormous amount of support and have an extremely positive outlook on life and her battle with cancer. The beautiful colors of Anelia's ornament represent her and her family's feeling that there is good fortune at the end of her rainbow.
